Tracked Camera LED in camera VFX
Virtual Production Computer Components
In this video we show you what computer components we use in all of our work stations. It is recommended that you have these components or similar in order to run a Virtual Production smoothly. It doesn't have to be these items specifically. The components you choose for your workstation need to have similar computing power for the best visual fidelity in a real time work flow.
Camera Tracking - Antilatency Components and Set up
In this video we will show you how to set up the Antilatency floor tracking volume. This tracking information will be used to update the virtual position of our camera in our Unreal Engine scene. Antilatency is an affordable alternative to the HTC vive that will give you much more reliable results.
Unreal Engine - nDisplay - Switchboard - Virtual Production - Basics
In this tutorial we cover the basics of setting up a simple nDisplay system. We will use Unreal Engine 4.27 and Switchboard to output our Unreal Engine scene to our Desktop monitors. The concepts covered in this video can be applied to any LED or screen volume.
nDisplay Template - ICVFX - nDisplay - ANTILATENCY VRPN - VIRTUAL PRODUCTION
In this video you will learn how to use the nDisplay Template provided by Unreal Engine. It is recommended that you start with these templates to enable the necessary plugins and streamline the process. In this video you will be guided through the process of setting up a custom nDisplay config from scratch using unreal engine only. We will also show you how we use Live Link VRPN to input our Antilatency camera tracking data directly into Unreal Engine.
ICVFX Template - ICVFX - nDisplay - ANTILATENCY VRPN - VIRTUAL PRODUCTION
In this video we will show you how to use the ICVFX template provided by Unreal Engine to create a custom nDisplay configuration. It is recommended by Unreal Engine that you start this process using the provided template. This tutorial will cover everything you need to know to get started with the ICVFX template. We will also cover setting up Antilatency Camera tracking through a VRPN server.
Aximmetry - Camera Calibrator - Virtual Production
In this video we will show you how to calibrate your physical camera lens as well as your camera tracking volume using the Camera Calibrator from Aximmetry. Calibrating our lens and tracking volume using the Aximmetry Camera Calibrator will allow Aximmetry to use this data for a much more accurate final pixel render. We highly recommend that you calibrate all of the lenses that you plan to use prior to going into physical production.
Aximmetry - Setting up a Custom Unreal Engine Scene For LED in camera VFX - Virtual Production
In this video we will show you how to set up your custom unreal engine scene in Unreal For Aximmetry. This is a version of Unreal Engine that is downloaded with the Aximmetry DE software. We will cover all of the settings and components that you need to change and add in order to get your custom unreal engine project open in Aximmetry DE.
Aximmetry - Setting up Aximmetry DE For LED in camera VFX - Virtual Production
In this video we will show you how to set up and calibrate Aximmetry DE for in camera VFX. There are some prerequisite videos that you will need to watch from this tutorial series in order to get everything set up properly. By the end of this video you will be able to capture real time in camera VFX using Aximmetry DE. You will also have a basic understanding of how to navigate and use the Aximmetry DE interface for real time in camera VFX.
ICVFX SPLINE - Moving the nDisplay configuration using blueprints - "LED ICVFX Process Trailer" - Virtual Production
In this video we will show you how to move your nDisplay configuration along a spline. This method is much more effective than using Sequencer to animate the position of your nDisplay configuration. We will be creating two blueprints that will allow us to attach our nDisplay configuration to any spline that we create.
